Building upon his parents legacy, Pastor Will has brought a fresh vision inspired by Proverbs 29:18 which says, “Where there is no vision (Chazown) , the people perish,” the opposite is also true; where there is God’s Chazown, people will thrive! It is Pastor Will’s passion to bring God’s Chazown to the community of Saint Louis and as a result the name of the church was changed from Word of Faith Church to Chazown Church. Pastor Will is a graduate of Oral Roberts University, where he met his wife Davina. Will and Davina have been married since 2006 and they have three beautiful daughters.

For over 20 years, Pastor Tavares has served in various capacities in church ministry. Mainly focusing as student pastor and chaplain to local area high school football teams. He loves connecting with people in the community and his passion has been to grow deeper in God’s word and to help lead other’s to find their purpose in Him.

From Louisiana, Texas,  Oklahoma and now St. Louis…we are here to help carry the mission of God, and Chazown Church.

Tavares born and raised in Texas, loves football and good bbq. In 2006 he met his wife, Jonnette in Broussard, Louisiana. They were married in 2008 and have since grown their family by two sweet and creative daughters.  

Pastor Katherine co-founded Chazown in 1993 with her late husband, Pastor William Coleman Jr., and faithfully helped lead the church for many years. A true prayer warrior with a pastor’s heart, she now serves in several roles, including co-leading our prayer team and serving in Z Kids. There is no Chazown without Pastor Katherine.

Tyler has been part of Chazown since 2021 and helps keep so much of what we do running smoothly. Born and raised in St. Louis, she oversees guest experience, special events, and volunteers, and brings both heart and hustle to it all. Tyler is truly part of the backbone of Chazown.

The Westbrooks have been part of Chazown for over 30 years and have faithfully served with humble, servant-hearted leadership. From prayer and mentorship to coaching, facilities, and whatever else is needed, they care deeply for our church family. They are the proud parents of two sons and grandparents to five.

Kenny and Thelma have been part of Chazown since 2025 and already serve in so many meaningful ways. They lead our marriage mentorship and prayer team, and also serve in Z Kids, Hidden Wealth, and Young Adults. They are the proud parents of six children and grandparents to eleven.
